In 2025, our company operates four liveaboard boats: MS Sula, MS Bergsund, MS Sjöveien, and MS Balto. While MS Sula and MS Bergsund offer similar standards and pricing, MS Sjöveien and MS Balto distinguish themselves with higher luxury and cost. Despite these differences, all boats follow the same daily program and collaborate during orca searches.

MS Sula features cabins with bunk beds, most of which have sinks and portholes, though none have private bathrooms. Shared facilities include two toilets, two showers, and a hot tub.


MS Bergsund also offers cabins with bunk beds, all equipped with sinks and portholes. Like MS Sula, there are no private bathrooms, but the boat has five toilets, five showers, and a hot tub.


MS Sjöveien provides a more luxurious experience, with suites, private bathrooms, and a larger crew, offering greater comfort at a higher price.

MS Balto offers a luxurious Arctic expedition experience for up to 12 passengers. All cabins have private bathrooms and lower beds. MS Balto also includes a sauna.

*Please be aware that the orca expedition departing on November 1st includes a mandatory biology course taught by Alessandro de Maddalena. This course adds NOK 6 000,- to the total price.

Constructed in 1967, this vessel initially served the Norwegian government in maintaining navigation marks and lighthouses. In 2006, it was acquired by Olav Magne Strømsholm, the founder of Orcanorway, to be used for orca expeditions. The cabins are equipped with bunk beds, most of which include a sink and a window or porthole. None of the cabins have private bathrooms. Onboard facilities include two toilets, two showers, and an outdoor hot tub. The vessel operates with a crew of five members.

MS Sula

Initially built in the 1950s and formerly a public ferry in northern Norway, MS Bergsund was renovation around 2017, transitioning into a passenger ship. Cabins are equipped with bunk beds, sinks, and porthole windows. Private bathrooms are not provided in the cabins. The boat features five toilets, five showers, and a hot tub on deck. The crew consists of 5 members.

Originally built in 1964, MS Sjöveien was transformed into an exclusive passenger ship in 2017. The main and upper decks feature two suites with double beds and windows, along with two cabins with twin beds and windows. On the lower deck, there are four cabins with twin beds and porthole windows. All cabins are equipped with private bathrooms. The vessel also includes an outdoor hot tub on the deck. The crew consists of 9-10 members.

MS Balto is a remarkable Arctic expedition ship that combines luxury, functionality, and adventure. Originally built in Rauma, Finland, for government service in the Baltic Sea, the vessel underwent a complete refurbishment between 2019 and 2022. Today, MS Balto offers a spacious and elegant experience for up to 12 passengers. The lower deck features three double bed cabins, one superior twin cabin, and two single cabins. On the main deck, there is a luxurious 30 m² queen bed suite. All cabins feature private bathrooms and lower beds.
